Get Radio Oxfordshire's Local Radio Station
Voting is now open for Brand the Bus 2026, giving people across Oxfordshire the chance to support a local charity or good cause with their vote. The competition is run by Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel, with support from us here at Get Radio and Oxford City Football Club! Voting opened on 1 April 2026 and will remain open until 11:59pm on 30 April 2026.
This year’s competition offers a prize package worth £100,000. The winning organisation will receive a year-long full-wrap advert on an Oxford Bus Company double-decker bus, free onboard advertising across Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel services, radio advertising on Get Radio, and the chance to become Oxford City Football Club’s charity of choice for the 2026/27 season.
There is also a prize for runners-up, with a £5,000 onboard digital advertising package available. Once public voting closes at the end of April, the top 10 charities and good causes will go forward to be reviewed by a judging panel before the winner is selected in May. The branded bus is expected to launch in Autumn 2026.

Through early intervention and personalised support, they empower young people to improve their mental health and re-engage with education – making a real difference across the county.
